As the first five-star conference and wellness hotel in Eastern Hungary, Hotel Divinus***** Superior opened its doors in the most beautiful forest of the country in 2023, in Nagyerdő of Debrecen with its elegant rooms and suites.

In addition, a real specialty of the hotel is that during the spring and summer season, the sightseeing mini-train departs from the entrance, with which our dear guests can comfortably see during the approx. a 1-hour drive the sights of the historic downtown and the most beautiful forest titled Nagyerdei Park.

Our hotel is the gateway to Debrecen´s popular green area of Nagyerdő, from which you can reach special places in a few minutes´ walk, such as the Nagyerdei Stadium, home of the DVSC team, the children´s favorite - the Sziget-kék themed park, the Debrecen Zoo, the Vidámpark, the Nagyerdei Szabadtéri Színpad, which stages light summer plays, the historic main building of the University of Debrecen, the iconic Békás lake, the Adventure and Thermal SPA Complex, as well as many thematic restaurants. It has been awarded "Accommodation of the Year" for several years, and has the family-friendly trademark and the Trip Advisor Travellers´ choice title. The basis of all these recognitions is that Hotel Divinus***** Superior was the first in Eastern Hungary to receive the five-star rating from Hotelstars.eu, which it has already received several times. The support of more than 370 million forints received through the Kisfaludy Program enabled a number of modernizations with which we can make our guests´ stay even more unforgettable with 21st century luxury quality, renewed spaces and equipment parks. During the investment, we completely renovated the hotel´s 149 rooms, public spaces, and the Wellness department. During the development, the equipment park of the two restaurants, the Beergarden, the Children´s Playhouse and the conference rooms were renewed. One of the main aspects of the development with the support is that in the future we can fully serve the needs of guests who come with particularly high quality expectations.
