The Modern and Contemporary Art Center is located in the historic center of Debrecen, in the building complex of the Kölcsey Center.

The three-story building with a total floor area of ​​4,650 square meters has approximately 3,000 square meters of exhibition space. On the second floor, there is the country´s largest contiguous exhibition hall - more than 1,300 square meters - where many masterpieces of modern and contemporary fine art can be found.

In addition to the exhibitions, companion art programs, art history and philosophy lectures, literary evenings and museum pedagogic sessions are also organized here.
